Looking to make a new bladder, whatcha got?

Have you tried asking your local fire department? They typically do testing every year and throw some away that doesn't meet their needs. The hose is still good for our purposes..

Dream

Yeah that's where I get it usually but they aren't doing testing till the end of May.

Here in europe you can get decent firehose at builders supplies sold as "construction hose". Same quality and specs like firehose (except certification) and decent price. + they have it in bigger dia. then normal firehoses

have you got any product codes / manufacturers? I've been having a terrible time finding something suitable

Well, the one i use is labeled by the reseller, dont know the producer. And afaik this one just sells inside austria.

But they state its made in austria... Look for "Trevira Feuerwehrschlauch" (which is the firehose), maybe you find the producer.

Heres the link to the reseller:

I have some meters of the 110mm and 95mm left. But im off into the mountains now, if you need some and youre not in a hurry i can send it in may....

mammuth

Btw. Trevira is the outher material. Its a high strength polyester which is temperature resistant.

Works great. 220V. Autofeed. One spray nozzle occasionally gets plugged but is easy to fix with compressed air. Comes with about a half gallon of Wintersteiger Emulsion. A bunch of belts. Plus it has the super handy dolly to easily move around the shop. The Montana edge grinder was used once so can't say much about it other than it works and has some extra belts with it too. $2250 Located in Park City, UT.

Would you consider selling the autofeed separately? I'd assume not, but no harm in asking. I have an ST600, but no autofeed for it.

dirtybird

Yeah, sorry I'd like to keep em together.

Because I can't find small quantities of this stuff, I'm considering purchasing a 126 yard roll that is slit into 3 sections. 2 are 18.5", 1@13". I will keep one of the 18.5 rolls but the other two will be up for grabs. Any interest?

roll 1- 18.5" x 126 yards= $441=$3.50/yard

roll 2-13" x 126 yards= $320/roll=$2.50/ yard

artski

I would be interested in about half of that 13 inch roll
