I don't particularly like the site.

On the landing page, there's a big dded slideshow that takes up half of my browser window, pushing the actual content off the page. Accompanied by the fact it's loaded *after* the page has loaded, meaning that the content is *actively* pushed down to where I can't see it. This makes me want to repeatedly punch your webdesigner in the arse until he shits himself.

Once you get off the landing page, the layout uses the same space, meaning that there's a (very nice) big picture of a pair of skis, but again, the useful information is off the page.

Remember, screens are getting wider, not taller, and not everyone maximises their windows.

Minor gripes - The menu rollover changes font when rolled over for me, meaning a nasty glitch as stuff expands and contracts. It's probably a platform issue with the choice of fonts. I'm on OSX running Chrome.

The store stuff is a bit glitchy. For example, I go to "the chairman", click "add to cart", and I'm told to select a size, despite there already being a cart selected.

The store won't let me order from Tajikistan (or, it would seem, anywhere in the world other than the US), so *why the dded* does it make me select a dded country? While I'm at it, if you put in an invalid postcode, it doesn't tell you the postcode is broken, merely that you can't order anything.

I really hope you're not handling credit card stuff in house.

I *haven't* tried breaking anything yet (breaking sites is something I am paid to do).

Otherwise, though, it's nice.

I used Chrome on Windows Vista and no issues. I only viewed the pages and did not run through the pages to buy skis.

Ooops. Haven't looked at the Wubanger construction page recently. We'll have to change that.

We will have weights and camber profiles listed shortly. We made some minor changes from prototypes to production and want to make sure we have accurate information before we post any false numbers.

I dont think the vds is a polyurethane like you state on your website.

Pretty sure its natural vulcanized rubber as per the spec sheet from haberkorn.

You are correct that the picture is the vulcanized rubber from haberkorn. We use that, much like everyone else as a shear layer to promote the longevity of the bond between dissimilar materials in our layup.

We do however use a generous amount of polyurethane between our cores and our sidewalls. Polyurethane is a bit more difficult to get a macro shot of and most people outside of this website and pretty much all consumers, don't know what vds is.

Could you share more details on the type of tpu thicknes and suppliers?

Hey guys, I figured I would start a thread on here to post some of the photos of our adventures this winter while testing some of our new skis.

December has been good to us in Utah. We had lots of snow and a stable snow pack, so we were able to get after it and start sending some lines and cliffs pretty early in the season.

Here is a little writeup from one of our good friends/riders Jeremy Lato from ns. He unfortunately broke and dislocated his elbow in the Idaho BC and will be out for eight weeks or so. Here is hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

Nice video! So I'm thinking,,,, When you're building the jumps like the one you use to go over the road, how do you know what elevation and angle to build it to clear the road or whatever it is you're jumping over? Is it just "eyeball engineering" and a big set of balls?

Thanks! And it is precisely eyeball engineering and a big set of balls. Jeremy was to one to guinea the jump that day, and did so with a beastly cork 7.

Our website is up! We are still tweaking it a bit every day and definitely still need to make some changes, but the general layout is all there. Would love some feedback from you guys.

Skis look great as does the website. My suggestion is to add more specifics to the product description. Assuming that most people will not be able to go into their local store and see the product first hand, having lots of details on the skis is helpful. For example - weight, tip rise, camber height, contact length, etc. High end ski buyers tend to be tech geeks and the more info the better. Check out the Praxis website.

Keep up the great work and hope to see some Kitten Factory products on the slopes this season.

Site looks great! Prices are very reasonable considering the construction/material in each ski type. Buyers are getting a great product at a great price. Keep up the great work!
