Hi folks- I have a few bladder questions for anyone that has the chance to give me their 2cents.

We just got my hose (mill) today. It is single walled and rated for a working pressure of 125psi. It was about $3 per foot and we ordered it through PRC Industrial In Portland Maine in case anyone is wondering. They were very helpful and got the hose really fast fast. The hose is 4" Diameter and a touch over 6.5" when flat. We should have enough to make 3 bladders. We plan on building a cat track for the press shortly after we fit the bladders and pressure test everything. Do you think we should run three bladders or two? My next question is about sealing the bladders. I read through a bunch of posts today and read a few people used 3m 5200 Fast Cure. I also read about gaskets but couldn't really get a feel for what was being used. What do people recommend for sealant? We are going to use angle iron and bolts as per the skibuilders directions on the site.

If you use sufficiently large angle iron, you can probably get by without any sealant. I had normal silicone sealant in my old hose, but in the new one I have none and it's leak free.

If you've got enough hose to do 3, then do that. The flatter you can keep your hoses the better, and using three will help you achieve that.
