For you guys that are building your own thermocouplers, I have come up with a great way to weld the wire without a welder or a torch. Most everybody has a battery charger for their car, right? Twist the wires of the thermo wire just as always, put the wire in the ground clamp of the charger with about a 1/4" of thermo sticking out, then just touch the positive clamp to the end sticking out and thats it!
