I have recently completed a ski built around an E regnans core. At 550 to 650kg per cubic meter this hardwood is strong and resists harmoic vibration. Seems to represent a real alternative to bamboo for AU & NZ builders. I have skied this ski at Mt Hotham the last three days, it is performing awesomely. I will add to trip report post shortly.
