Covered walkways are basically for home and building. It had a lot of purposes which you can avail from. A covered walkway is essentially important for walkways. This is a protection against danger from sunlight.

What? You guys don't like covered walkways?!? They're so protective from the sun and all...no one has to die! I could walk out with a boner and hey, no sunshine. Awesome. There's just no way this could be bad...

I only first disocvered the wonder of the coverwd walkway in ca and it is true it is wonderful.

While searching for hemp fabric suppliers I came across bamboo fiber glass. Never heard of such a thing. I wanted to do some tests w/ hemp over the summer but now I think I want to try dabbling w/ this bamboo fiberglass too.

Might have to use multiple layers to make up for its' weave and its' light weight....

Anyone have any experience with this or know more about it?

apparently it has to be stretched over whatever you laminate with it.

There's a new greenlight store near me, I'll go check it out. Been wanting to experiment with this stuff for a while. My guess is its surfboard stuff so it's going to be thin and weak, will require at least two layers on each side of core i'd imagine.

I like the look of the weaved bamboo as a top-sheet. I think that looks great on a snow board or ski.

Come to think of it skibuilders sent me a free ski hat made from bamboo fibers and it's very stretchy. Wonder if the bamboo fiberglass is similar. Might be too stretchy if it's like the hat.

Hi all, I was in the lumber store last week and came across puckboard.

When i asked what it was i got the standard answer "they use it at the rink for boards"

Nobody there seemed to know what type of plastic it is.

I've done a bit of searching online but still not really sure.

My best guess is hdpe but thought id ask the smart people here.

Looks interesting for side walls, tip spacers or even just as a smooth surface on the bottom of a mold.

Anybody know? thanks

it's polyethylene. not sure of the density/molecular weight, but I would guess it's HDPE, though UHMW is supposed to be the substitute, according to my plastic supplier's catalogue, so Im not sure.

hdpe is the most used plastic for hockey rink dashers. uhmw can be used but is for expensive. the only real difference between the two is the strength being uhmw is the stronger material and also more expensive. industrial plastic supply is great place to get both materials.
